News: US strikes on 85 Iran-linked targets in Iraq and Syria kill 16 people, says Iraqi government

Iraq has warned of disastrous consequences for the region, after the US launched air strikes on 85 targets used by Iranian-backed militias in Iraq and Syria. It said 16 people were killed in Iraq, some of them civilians. The strikes were in retaliation for a drone attack which killed three US troops last Sunday. And the US says they were just the beginning.
